Kenneth
Copeland (born
December 6, 1936) is the founder of Kenneth Copeland Ministries, a Christian
religious organization, and a television evangelist. He was
born in Lubbock, Texas.
Christianity
Following
his conversion to Christianity in November,
1962,
Copeland turned his life over to ministry work.[1]
In the 1960s,
he was a pilot
for Oral Roberts.
Copeland attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa,
Oklahoma,
but left to become a full-time minister before graduating. Later he studied
under Kenneth E. Hagin, founder of Rhema Bible
College and Rhema Bible Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

His
ministry grew through the 1970s, and in 1979, "Believer's Voice of Victory" first appeared on
television.
Kenneth
Copeland Ministries’ headquarters is in Fort Worth, Texas, with International
offices in Australia, Africa, Canada, Europe and the Ukraine. It is legally
known as Eagle Mountain International Church, Incorporated, aka Kenneth Copeland
Ministries.
Kenneth
and his wife, Gloria Copeland, travel regularly, speaking at churches and
conventions, including their own annual Believers’ Conventions of which there
is one in Texas, called the Southwest Believers’ Convention, as well as one in
California, called the West Coast Believers’ Convention.
Kenneth
Copeland Ministries is also actively involved in ministry to prison inmates
across the nation.
Teachings
Copeland
is considered one of the most prominent teachers of the Word of Faith teaching
within the charismatic churches worldwide.[citation
needed]
Kenneth
and Gloria Copeland's message of success begins with the foundation of God's
prosperity; "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;
and all these things shall be added unto you."
God's
prosperity isn't just financial blessings. It also includes health, protection,
favor, wisdom, success, well-being and every good thing you could possible
need-all the good things Jesus paid for you to have.
